Local people and community groups in
the Richmondshire District Central area are being urged to bid for
funding for local projects.
Individuals, community groups and parish
councils can apply for cash from Richmondshire District Council
Central Area Partnership Forum – but schemes must be within the
Richmond town, Brompton on Swale, Catterick village and Scorton
parishes and the surrounding villages.
Applications packs will be available at the
forums meeting next week – September 29 at Richmond Middle School
at 7pm.
The Partnership is one of five within the
District, each with a budget to allocate to local projects.
There are also partnerships for North Richmondshire, the Upper
Dales, the Garrison area and Lower Wensleydale – they meet several
times a year to debate local issues.
To bid for a share of the funding, applicants
need to complete an ‘Expression of Interest’ form.
Further information and application forms are
available from Kayleigh Thompson, Central Area Partnership
Support Officer, Richmondshire District Council, Swale House,
Frenchgate, Richmond DL10 4JE or
kayleigh.thompson@richmondshire.gov.uk. Completed forms should be
returned by October 8, 2010.
