A comprehensive review of all
Richmondshire District Council’s car parks is
underway.
Throughout the summer residents and visitors
are being asked if the 21 car parks - both free and pay and display
suit their needs.
Earlier this year Councillors agreed that
proposals to introduce charges in some car parks for the first time
- including Richmond Station and the Broadway in Colburn - should
be deferred until a review had been carried out.
The students are asking all users of the car
parks a number of questions along with their views and comments on
individual car parks throughout the district.
The data from the survey will then be analysed
and members will consider the findings of the consultation in
September.
Anyone wishing to add their comments and views
on the councils car parks can approach any of the survey
staff in the car parks, or alternatively contact Gary Hudson
on 01748 827174 or gary.hudson@richmondshire.gov.uk.
