Richmondshire business leaders are
being urged to attend a special ‘get together’ next
month.
The District Council is working with the
area’s four business associations to host an ‘enterprise
day’. The information and networking event aims to bring
members of a range of businesses and support agencies together -
advice and support will be on offer as well as the chance to
network with like minded organisations.

take place throughout the day and tourism leaflets from some of the
districts key attractions will be available for collection.
The event – which is free - takes place at
Middleham Key Centre on March 29 from 10am – 3pm.
“This day will bring representatives from
businesses large and small together in one venue - to network with
people from different organisations and have the chance to obtain
advice and support,” said Richmondshire District Council Deputy
Leader, Councillor Melva Steckles.
“We are working with the local business
associations as well as key partners such as Wel;come 2 Yorkshire
and Business Link to support businesses and our local economy.”
It will include workshops, seminars and an
exhibition to support business to business trading, energy
efficiency, legislation and making a business more
profitable. Advice and support on energy efficiency and how
to develop business potential and sustainability will also be
available from a number of support agencies. Partners
exhibiting at the event will include:Chambers of Commerce, Business
Link, the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, North Yorkshire
County Council Trading Standards, Welcome to Yorkshire and
Co2Sense.

Richmondshire and we at Welcome to Yorkshire fully support this
opportunity to bring local businesses together to create a strong
network. This can only help in our goal to ensure visitors not only
