Community groups in 30 parishes around
North Richmondshire are being urged to apply for a slice of a
£10,000 funding pot.
The North Richmondshire Community Partnership
is looking to support projects from local communities.
Bids of up to £1000 per project can be
made for a whole range of projects, large or small,
with the cash available to provide full, partial or ‘top up’
funding.
Applications must be made by January 3 with
groups then asked to come along to the partnership area forum
meeting on January 12 to present their bid to members.
All parishes have been sent expression of
interest forms to complete but anyone needing more information
should contact Emma Foyle on 01748 827011 or
emma.foyle@richmondshire.gov.uk.
The Area Partnership is one of five set up by
Richmondshire District Council each with a budget of £10,000 to
allocate to local projects. It is split into a public forum
and a board - the forum which is open to all members of the
community - makes recommendations to the board. That is made
up of local people as well as parish, district and county
councillors.
