Richmondshire residents will receive
their housing benefits early because of the May bank
holiday.
Landlords and tenants who would normally be
paid through the bank or by cheque on May 30 will receive their
entitlement on May 27.
If the benefit is paid four weekly to
landlords the payment covers May 2 – May 29. If it is paid
fortnightly to tenants the payment covers May 16 – May 29.
