Benefit payment dates are affected by
the festive holidays.
Anyone who would normally expect a payment of
housing benefit - either two weekly in arrears, or a four weekly
payment - on December 27 will receive it one week early, on
December 20.
The two weekly in arrears payments cover the
period December 13 - 26 and the four week payment from
December 13 - January 9.
The first housing benefit payment of the New
Year will be made on January 10.
