Line-up announced for first
ever Youth Council gig in Richmond
FOUR local bands will headline a gig organised by Richmondshire
District Youth Council (RDYC) this week.
Hammer of Dawn, The Lovecats, Jagged Union and The Hornosexuals
will perform at the free concert in Richmond, on Thursday, January
31.
The event is the first in a series of gigs funded and arranged
by RDYC. The concerts are also supported by Richmondshire District
Council, North Yorkshire County Council, Connecting Youth Culture
and 4Youth.
Gemma Robinson, from RDYC, said: "You're free, the gig's free –
so see you there!"
The event is for young people aged between 11 and 19. It kicks
off at 7.30pm, at Richmond Town Hall, with each band performing a
30-minute set, and will finish by 10.30pm.
