WEATHER PROBLEMS

Refuse and recycling collections are disrupted by the weather today.

All garden waste collections in Middleham, Spennithorne, East Witton, Thornton Steward, Bellerby, Harmby, Barden, Garrison, Finghall, Constable Burton, Newton le Willows, East Hauxwell, Hunton, Hornby, Arrathorne, Patrick Brompton, West Appleton, and East Appleton have been cancelled. Residents are being asked to take their bins in until their next scheduled collection day.  Anyone needing additional capacity can get green bags, free of charge, by calling 01748 828777.

Recycling collections  for glass, cans, paper and plastic will take place on the main roads and any areas which are passable and gritted in Middleham, Spennithorne, East Witton, Thornton Steward, Bellerby, Harmby, Barden, Garrison, Finghall, Constable Burton, Newton le Willows, East Hauxwell, Hunton, Hornby, Arrathorne, Patrick Brompton, West Appleton, and East Appleton. 

Any areas not visited today will not be returned to until next collection day.   Residents are asked to place the excess out on the next collection day or take it to their nearest bring to site  - see www.richmondshire.gov.uk for details.

Refuse collections will be taking place on the main roads and passable gritted areas in Low Row, Reeth, Grinton, Fremington, Healaugh, Hudswell and the main roads in between these villages.  The areas of Gunnerside, Muker, Whitaside, Langthwaite ,Thwaite and Keld will have their refuse collected on Monday, weather permitting.

All missed refuse collections will be returned for before the Christmas shutdown.
