We support staff who wish to gain a Level 2 qualification (equivalent to 5 GCSEs A to C grade) which is often a minimum requirement for jobs).

You will also be able to reap the benefit of working in an area surrounded by wonderful scenery. Richmondshire is set in the glorious Yorkshire Dales. There are market towns and small hamlets, and numerous leisure activities catering for a wide range of interests. York and Leeds are also close by as the District is well served with good road links with the A1 to the North and South and the A66 to the West. There are also good rail links from Darlington and Northallerton and an international airport at Durham/Tees-Valley Airport. Schools are excellent and the standard of healthcare is generally very high.
