Grade 5 SCP £17,072 - £17,772 pa pro rata
£8.84 per hour
Part time – 4 hrs per week
We are looking for a Relief Warden to cover for our Resident Warden’s day off. We are looking to recruit someone who is self-motivated, with a genuine interest in working with older people, someone who is able to relate to the needs of our residents living in our sheltered scheme at Queens Court, Richmond. You must be able to work on your own using your initiative to resolve problems and issues as they arise. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work.
The post is 4 hours, one morning a week, (which at this time is a Thursday morning). However, the relief warden will be expected to cover any absences and act as the warden when the warden is on holiday or absent. This could mean providing cover 7 mornings a week during periods of absence.
In addition to basic checks of the building, the relief warden duties involve contacting our residents in Queens Court to ensure their wellbeing and arranging for further help if needed such as contacting doctors and other agencies on their behalf and the Council as required.
