How to get involved

There are a variety of ways you can get involved.  We understand that you will have other commitments and therefore to help you decide which way is best for you we have developed with our Tenants Panel a Menu of Involvement.  This menu offers you the ability to get involved at a level which will suit your own personal circumstances.  So if you don’t have enough time to attend meetings you are able to join a group which is consulted via surveys or by giving your opinion on council leaflets and guides, the decision is yours.    If you want to find out more about getting involved in one or more of the ways detailed in the Menu just contact Susie Marsh on 01748 827191.

Tenant Involvement Agreement
The Tenant Involvement Agreement was developed with the Tenant Panel and details the ways, in which the council will work with tenants to develop, monitor and improve our services.

Estate Walkabouts
Following tenant consultation we have developed a programme of Estate Walkabouts which started in January 2011.  A number of tenants have already volunteered to join us on the walkabouts, however all tenants are welcome to join us and if you are interested and available on any of the dates please come along to the meeting points described in the Estate Walkabout programme.
