Sheltered housing is accommodation for older and vulnerable
people who are aged over 60 years. This accommodation enables
the person to live independently, and includes the following
types of property:
- self contained studio apartments
- 1 and 2 bedroom flats
- 1 and 2 bedroom bungalows.
Some are specially adapted, all have the benefit of a Resident
Warden living on site and a 24 hour emergency alarm
system.
