Changes In Circumstances
You must tell us straight away if there is a change in your or any member of your households' circumstances. Even a small change may effect how much money we can pay you. If you don't tell us straight away, you could lose out on money or we could overpay you and if you are overpaid we will recover the money from you.
These are some of the types of changes you must tell the Benefits team about:-
- If you or a member of your household start work
- If the amount of savings or investments change
- If your income changes or the income of anyone else in your household changes
- If someone joins or leaves your household
ARE YOU MOVING HOME?
If you have moved or are moving home please notify the Local Taxation and the Benefits Team so that your account can be adjusted. You will need to complete a Change of Address form. Please click the relevant link below. Please note that you will need to print the form and forward the completed form to us either by post, email, or in person.
