Hello and welcome to my webpages. I represent the Ward
of Castle Bolton, which is located in the middle of Wensleydale and
extends from Bellerby to Carperby. Part of my ward, namely
Carperby and Castle Bolton fall within the Yorkshire Dales National
Park.
I have been on Carperby Parish Council for over 25 years
and was Chairman for 17 years, until 2009 when I did not stand
for the position.
I have been a Member of the N.F.U for 40 years and have been
on a number of Committees and Chair of the local
branch.
I live in Carperby with my family. I have two children,
a son that lives in London and a daughter that lives in
Northallerton.
