I represent the Reeth and Arkengarthdale Ward incorporating the Parishes of Arkengarthdale, Marrick, Maske, New Forest, Reeth Fremington and Healaugh. It is a very rural ward with residents from a wide spectrum of professions.

Personal Background

I live in Reeth with my wife and two children who both attend Reeth School. I am retired but have had my own business for 25 years.

Council Background

I am new to Richmondshire District Council as an Independent Councillor but I have been a Parish Councillor for 12 years. I am currently Chairman of Reeth, Fremington and Healaugh Parish Council and Vice-Chairman of Reeth and Gunnerside Methodist Confederated Primary School.

Interests

I enjoy engineering projects in my workshop and I have an ambition to be eccentric!
