Area Meetings

The District Council facilitates community meetings called 'Area Meetings', formerly Parish Forums, whereby members of the public, partners and the Council can meet and discuss matters of concern or raise matters of interest within the local community. There are two areas: Richmondshire West and Richmondshire East. They meet twice a year at different venues throughout the District.

 

 

 

The Area Meetings cover the following areas:

 

 

A1 Corridor - Appleton East and West, Barton, Bolton on Swale, Brompton-on-Swale, Brough with St Giles, Catterick Village, Cleasby, Cliffe, Croft-on-Tees, Dalton-on-Tees, Ellerton-on-Swale, Eryholme, Manfield, Middleton Tyas, Moulton, Newton Morrell, North Cowton, Scorton, Skeeby, Stapleton, Tunstall and Uckerby.

North Richmondshire - Aldbrough St John, Aske, Caldwell, Carkin, Dalton, East Layton, Eppleby, Forcett, Gayles, Gilling West with Hartforth & Sedbury, Kirby Hill, Melsonby, Newsham, Ravensworth, Stanwick St John, West Layton and Whashton.

Richmond Central - Colburn, Easby, Hipswell, Hudswell, Richmond, Scotton and St Martins.

 

 

Lower Wensleydale - Akebar, Arrathorne, Barden, Bellerby, Caldbergh with East Scrafton, Carlton Highdale, Carlton Town, Castle Bolton with East and West Bolton, Constable Burton, Coverham with Agglethorpe, East Hauxwell, East Witton, Finghall, Garriston, Harmby, Hornby, Hunton, Hutton Hang, Leyburn, Melmerby, Middleham, Newton-Le-Willows, Patrick Brompton, Preston-Under-Scar, Redmire, Spennithorne, Thornton Steward, Wensley, West Hauxwell, West Scrafton and West Witton.

Swaledale - Arkengarthdale, Downholme, Ellerton Abbey, Fremington, Grinton, Healaugh, Marrick, Marske, Melbecks (Gunnerside and Low Row), Muker, New Forest, Reeth, Stainton and Walburn.

Upper Wensleydale - Askrigg, Aysgarth, Bainbridge, Bishopdale, Carperby-Cum-Thoresby, Hawes, High Abbotside, Low Abbotside, Newbiggin, Thoralby,Thornton Rust, Walden and West Burton.
