District Council Elections

District elections are held every 4 years on 1st Thursday in May. The District Council Elections were last held on 3 May 2007, the next District Council Elections will take place in May 2011.

The District Council has 34 District Councillors representing 24 Wards.  To see which parishes are in which ward and who is the Ward Member see  Parish to Ward & District Councillor.  For information on District Councillors see  Your Local Councillors for further details.
