A small village near Catterick has been granted planning permission for six new homes.
Richmondshire’s Rural housing Enabler has been working in partnership with Broadacres Housing Association to provide a new rural exception scheme off Wild Hill Lane in Hunton.
This new affordable home scheme comprises of four x two bed homes and two x three bed homes and hopes to be completed and ready for occupation at the end of March 2015.
Local people with a local connection to Hunton, ( who are unable to purchase or rent on the open market) and wish to be considered for one of these homes are asked to registered their interest with Amanda Madden of Richmondshire District Council or complete the formal application on www.northyorkshirehomechoice.org.uk.
